A cross-jurisdictional assessment of the development of climate change-related legislation across the continent
In view of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), we felt inspired to compare and document key environmental law and climate change related questions across 9 African jurisdictions and how they are applied in each country. The primary purpose of the assessment is to track the development of climate change legislation across the continent.
This cross-jurisdictional assessment unpacks 8 key questions across 9 African jurisdictions, namely: Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
