Domestic Work Regulation 2026
The Decree No. 52/2026, of 3 September, approved the new Domestic Work Regulation, which will enter into force in March 2027. This Decree revokes Decree No. 40/2008, of 26 November, thereby replacing the previous framework and introducing clearer and updated rules governing the employment relationship between domestic employers and workers serving household units.
